Who it's for: Students finishing Grade 4 and heading into Grade 5 this September, in small tutor-led groups of four. Bridges the jump: numbers to 100 000, times tables to 12x12 with long division, fractions gain mixed numbers, percent appears, patterning becomes algebra, and data adds stacked-bar graphs.

✓ Reads, writes, compares, orders, and rounds whole numbers to 100 000 and decimals to hundredths, and applies the same base-ten shift to convert metric units.✓ Multiplies two-digit by two-digit numbers and divides three-digit by two-digit numbers using the area model, backed by instant recall of facts to 12x12.✓ Names, compares, and orders equivalent fractions, improper fractions, and mixed numbers to twelfths, and moves between fraction, decimal, and percent form.✓ Translates a word phrase or a growing or shrinking pattern into an algebraic expression, evaluates it, and solves and verifies an equation or simple inequality.✓ Constructs and compares triangles, plots and transforms shapes on a coordinate grid including rotations, and finds the area of a parallelogram or triangle.
