Lucas Aucoin is a first-year Commerce student at the University of Toronto's Rotman School, with a passion for math that goes all the way back to childhood.
He has been recognized for his dedication both in and out of the classroom. At Bishop Allen Academy, he received the Bell Driver Student Exemplary Award, given to a student who consistently shows passion in academics and extracurriculars while treating everyone around them with kindness.
At Winny Math, Lucas focuses on helping younger students build a strong, confident foundation in math. He is self-motivated, hard-working, and genuinely enjoys helping kids see that math can be fun rather than frustrating. His approach is patient and encouraging: he breaks concepts down into simple, bite-sized steps, celebrates small wins along the way, and makes sure every student feels supported, not rushed.
Outside of tutoring, Lucas loves playing baseball and is always on the hunt for the next great place to eat.
