Which reciprocal identity directly proves cot(θ)=cos(θ)/sin(θ)?

📘 Worked solution
By definition cot(θ)=1/tan(θ)=1/(sin(θ)/cos(θ))=cos(θ)/sin(θ), so it follows directly from the definition of tangent.

And one from the hard end

Prove 1+tan²θ=sec²θ starting from the left side.
