Sample: the first question, solved

Which formula gives the distance from a point (x₁,y₁,z₁) to the plane Ax+By+Cz+D=0?

📘 Worked solution
The distance formula divides the absolute value of the plane expression evaluated at the point by the magnitude of the normal vector: d=|Ax₁+By₁+Cz₁+D|/√(A²+B²+C²).

And one from the hard end

"Find the distance from (1,2,3) to the line r=(0,0,0)+t(1,1,1), using d=|PQ×v|/|v|."
